Now that the summer months have arrived, you’re likely making plans to enjoy a long break with some fun in the sun. From spending time at a backyard BBQ to vacationing at your favorite beach, there’s bound to be something exciting to do this time of the year. #1: Stick to Your Oral Hygiene Routine

Many people tend to fall off of their typical oral hygiene regimen during the summer months due to all the fun. Even if you do have a busy schedule ahead, you’ll want to keep up your daily teeth-cleaning habits. By brushing, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash every day, you’ll effectively prevent bacteria and plaque from accumulating, keeping your mouth safe from issues like decay and infection in the long run.

#2: Avoid Overindulging in Sugar

While ice cream sounds like a delectable treat to enjoy throughout the warmer time of the year, make sure to consider your oral health. They can help keep your smile bright while also ensuring your mouth is free of any issues like decay and infection.
