Dr. Gray Shares his Experience in Guatemala
April 25, 2018
We just returned from a weeklong mission trip in Guatemala with Christ Chapel Bible Church, partnering with Manna International. We had two general dentists, two physicians, two nurse practitioners, eleven nurses and allied health professionals, and four people who worked with children’s ministry through the week. It was great to have Sherry join me on her first international mission trip. We had an amazing week and helped around 800 people with medical, dental, vision and spiritual healing. The team set up clinics in five different cities from the coast on Monday up to the mountains north of Guatemala City Tuesday through Thursday.
Why Your Dentist in Arlington Performs Oral Cancer Screenings
April 4, 2018
Oral cancer takes a life every hour in the United States. With nearly 50,000 new diagnosed cases reported every year, it’s become incredibly important for dentists and other medical professionals alike to work together in the fight against oral cancer.
When you visit your dentist, you may not even realize that your checkup also consists of an oral cancer screening. Since April is Oral Cancer Awareness month, your dentist in Arlington thought it would be important to mention this life-saving screening and explain why he does it for every incoming patient.
